Finished Costume for the Renaissance Faire

Grace and I had fun creating her woodland elf costume by altering a bunch of things we found at Goodwill and scrounged from my stash.

Here's a belt that I cut apart and reconfigured in order to make it into something more useful.

This medallion was die cut from aluminum tape over cardstock then dry embossed and the raised sections highlighted with gold Rub 'N Buff paste. I sewed it onto the fabric pouch and changed the original button to a metallic one. It now hangs on one of the belts.

Here is the super finished product! Love it!! We can't believe it only took us a few hours.

Some Individual Cards from Elim Card Sets

Here are a few individual cards from the sets posted on my previous blog post.

Elim Fall Fair 2015

Elim Christian Services (for disabled children and adults) has a money raising fall festival each year where they sell handmade crafts. This year I made sets of cards and other items to donate. We also had a work day where members of my church made additional crafts I had prepped. Although I didn't get to attend the fair because I was in Seattle, I heard it was a great success.

Getting ready for the work day at church.

Catch Up

I've been slack posting pictures, and I want to have a record of what I've been doing over the summer and fall. I won't go into details about how each was made. Most are pictures of cards, but there are a few items from a party and baby shower.
